Bring the family along for an unforgettable New Year’s experience. Race down the ski slopes as the last one in 2026, and again as the first one in 2027. Enjoy a fantastic New Year’s Eve dinner at Myrkdalen Hotel in the quiet, crisp mountain landscape of Norway. Plenty of space, fresh air, and no queues at the lifts. Three full days of skiing.

Family-friendly ski area. In addition to the alpine facilities, there are also 28 km of well-groomed trails ready for cross-country skiing.

The stay includes half board: breakfast buffet, and in the evening there is free choice between three different restaurants. The main restaurant with a 3-course menu, the fondue restaurant with cheese and meat fondue, or the Tunet restaurant, which offers pizza, burgers, and pasta on the menu. In addition, there is of course a little extra attention given to the New Year’s Eve dinner on 31.12.2026.

You can bring your own ski equipment or rent it directly in Myrkdalen. The return trip to Denmark is based on a ferry from Bergen to Hirtshals, so that only 1.5 hours need to be spent driving in Norway. A cabin on the ferry is included, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The outbound ferry departs from Hirtshals on the evening of 28.12, arriving in Bergen at 12:30 the following day. On 3.1.2027 the return journey departs from Bergen at 13:30, arriving back in Hirtshals at 08:00 on Sunday morning.

The hotel is not very large, so the first come, first served principle naturally applies. When booking, a deposit of DKK 2,000 is payable. The remaining balance is due 16 days before departure. Cancellation is also possible up to 16 days before departure.

So pack warm clothes and a deck of cards in the car, and try something new.
