This ski destination is dedicated to those who want as little travel time as possible. Only 2.5 hours from the ferry in Langesund lies Rauland.
In Rauland there are 150 km of cross-country trails as well as an alpine resort offering 41 slopes, divided into: 4 black, 18 red, 13 blue and 6 green. In addition, there are 14 lifts, both chairlifts and drag lifts. A full 14 km of illuminated trails, and the longest downhill run is 3 km. There are children’s slopes for the very youngest, and a fun park for older youngsters. There are also opportunities for off-piste skiing on Raulandfjellet. This makes Rauland Telemark’s largest winter destination.
At the bottom of the slopes in the alpine resort there are many options for getting something to eat, and after a day of activity there are also a couple of après-ski bars.
Naturally, it is possible to rent ski equipment and to book ski school.
The area is located in the Telemark region at 700–1140 metres above sea level.
The cabins are very cosy and are located right next to the ski slopes. All cabins have a fireplace, and the largest ones also have a sauna.
There is plenty of space in the cabins, and they are designed for lots of quality time together.
There are shopping facilities in Rauland.
When booking, a deposit of DKK 2,000 is paid. The remaining amount is due 16 days before departure.
Cancellation can likewise be made up to 16 days before departure.
