A trip designed for those who want to try skiing for the first time. Everything is included in the price: lift pass, ski equipment rental and ski school. Departure Friday evening from Hirtshals, in January or April, and return the following Sunday morning. Myrkdalen is a fantastic family-friendly ski resort and a great area to start life on skis. The ski area is slightly secluded, with relatively few guests, which means plenty of space on the slopes, fresh mountain air and no queues at the lifts.

Everything needed for a successful ski holiday is right at hand. The ski rental, ski school and the hotel are all located directly by the slopes for true ski-in ski-out convenience.

Myrkdalen Ski School welcomes beginners and experienced skiers from day one, with professional and patient instructors. For all 5 days there is a dedicated ski instructor for about 100 minutes per day, giving structured learning and progress on skis. The rest of the day is free time to practice, relax or explore the ski resort.

The ski equipment is prepared and ready on the first day upon arrival, so the ski holiday can start immediately without stress.

Because of Myrkdalen’s unique location in the mountains, it is one of the snowiest ski areas in Europe, with the second highest snowfall and a long ski season that stretches from the end of November into May.

The stay includes half board, ideal for a comfortable ski vacation. There is a generous breakfast buffet, and in the evening there is a choice between three different restaurants. The main restaurant with a 3-course menu, the fondue restaurant with cheese and meat fondue, or the Tunet restaurant, which serves pizza, burgers and pasta.

In addition to this ski package, it is possible to book memorable winter activities such as a horse-drawn sleigh ride, an adventurous dog sledding tour, or a scenic fjord winter safari. An afternoon with an activity other than skiing is recommended, as it makes the entire winter holiday experience even more unique. These extra activities can be booked directly through NRAFF.
